Queensland is the second largest State and famous for its beaches and the Great Barrier Reef. It is home to Australia’s tropical islands that are very popular with tourists. Most people live along the coast and towards the south in Brisbane and the Gold Coast. The far west is very dry as it is separated from the coast by the Great Dividing Range of mountains that runs down the state and into NSW.
