Candidates may be required to sit a language proficiency test. Language proficiency is tested through the International English Language Testing System (IELTS), an internationally recognised practical English language assessment used by those seeking international education.
In most cases, if an applicant can produce a letter from the tertiary education institution that they attended stating that English was the medium of instruction for their studies, the applicant will not need to sit an IELTS.
