Scholarships are generally available for full-time Postgraduate Diploma or Master degree studies at Australian universities. Study under the scholarships is limited to Australian universities.
The nominating authorities and selection committees of the participating countries in Africa give priority to certain fields of study that best meet the development needs of that country (such as health, public administration or education). The country specific information for the student’s home country will indicate any priority subject areas.
Scholarships may include up to 12 months preparation training such as English language training. Students must achieve satisfactory results in this training to be able to continue their scholarships and to have their family join them.
The Australian education system puts a lot of emphasis on individuals and individual needs, so don't be surprised to find that all Australian institutions are unique and therefore difficult to compare or rank. The Australian government has approved all institutions in the ADS scheme, so students can be confident they will receive the same high quality education at whichever institution they choose.
For further counseling and advice on more specific course information students are encouraged to contact GRM International or by using the Internet to find information about Australian institutions (useful internet sites are www.studyinaustralia.gov.au , www.idp.edu.au, www.australian-universities.com/rankings/).
